We are very excited to have the opportunity to help children grow and develop.
I am Julia Smith and my husband is Chad Smith. We have 3 sons (who attend here) and a daughter. We have been married 7 years and together 9. We live in Arlington TX. I have been in early childhood education for over 10 years. I started as a teacher, then a lead teacher, asst Director, now a Director. I have worked for a family owned facility in Fort Worth and was the Director there for 3 years. I was also an Asst. Director at a popular Arlington chain of child care centers for 3 years. Before opening Prescott I was offered a Director position at a corporate Child care facility. I turned the offer down so that I could open my own and implement education. We strive to provide the best education and care possible for young children. By partnering with parents, I believe we can build a strong foundation for your children in which to grow. We, here at Prescott, have a passion for ensuring young children are nurtured and respected. My goal is to provide childen with a safe, nurturing and challenging environment in which they may flourish. My husband has been in childcare his entire life. I am constantly in and out of classrooms to ensure that all policies and procedures are followed. We love to play sports with the children and are always making sure the families are happy and gives immediate attention to any concern or question you may have.  
We take extra health and safety measures that the state does not require. We insist that shoe covers be worn in our infant room. We also sanitize toys throughout the day. We constantly disinfect the rooms all day. We require gloves during nose wiping, diaper chaging and food handling. We currently have over 80 children in care and quickly growing. Spaces are becoming limited so hurry and come in for a tour and rates. We are offering free registration when mentioning this website. We enroll infants through 5 years and pick up from select elementary schools. (see list on home page)

Ivony F

Ivony is the Center manager and is earning her director's certificate currently. She has been here since September 2009 and has previous childcare center in several corporate childcare chains throughout Tarrant County. She is very sweet, kind and caring. She always makes our families her 1st priority and will get you an answer right away. We are very lucky to have her. She resides in Arlington with her husband E.J.

 

 

 

 

Infant Teachers 

Ms Crystal D

She has been with Prescott since Dec 2008. She is a very kind, loving and dependable Teacher. Your infant will be entertained and loved as she really enjoys the babies and helping them discover the world around them. She resides here in Arlington TX with her son.

 

Ms Kaylan

Has previous experience in childcare and has worked with infants and toddlers. She resides in Arlington with her husband and their new puppy. She has been here since April 2010.

 

Ms Lauren

She came from a major cooperate center and has 2 years experience. She loves the babies and enjoys caring for them! She has been with Prescott since Jan 2010.

Ms Bushra

Ms Bushra has been in child care for 5 years. She started with Prescott in December 2007. She is originally from India but lives here in Arlington with her husband and 2 sons who attend here. The parents absolutely adore her and she certainly treats every child like they were her own.

 

 

Toddler Teacher

Ms Abeeda

Ms Abeeda has been in Child care for a year. She is also from India and has such a caring and warm soul. She loves all the children in her class and also treats them all like her own. She is always concerned about any issue you may have and gets you an answer to any question. She lives in Arlington with her husband and son (who attends here) and has been here since April 2008.

 

 

Pre K 3's Teacher

 

Claudia resides here in Arlington with her Daughter and husband. She is the teacher in the 3's.

 

Pre K 4's Teacher

Ms Ashley

She is currently the lead 4 year old teacher. They do spanish and circle time each day. Ms. Ashley loves the four year old class and the privledge of introducing them to the world of education and preporation for Kindergarten. She is very patient, loving and creative!

 

Schooler's/PM Pre K 4

Ms Sharon has 20 years experience in the AISD school district. SHe loves the older children and is very excited and dedicated.

Ms Nette

Ms Nette has a college degree in early childhood education. Her son attends here and her and her husband reside here in Arlington. She started in Feb 2009. She has a great classroom and the two year olds love her. She is very organized, clean and calming.

 

Asst Teacher's

Ms Tracy is the asst Toddler teacher, Ms Tanya is the Asst Teacher in the 2's, Ms Amanda is the asst Pre K teacher.

 

 Ms Ashley is a teacher's Asst. Ms Jasmine is a teacher's asst as well.

The employee's are so sweet. The Director def bends over backwards to help us out. I love this school. When I walked in I had a sense of being at home. My daughter attends here and my new baby will soon be there as well.

I am so pleased with Prescott. They are so close with all the families. When I enrolled there was a parent in the Director's office just going on and on about personal issues. The Director was taking time out of an obviously busy day to listen and console this parent. I have never seen such personable attention and closeness in a child care facility. After observing the classroom my son would be in and seeing how caring the staff were with other parents and the children I enrolled right then! We are very happy here as my son warmed right up to the teacher and did not even cry when I left him the first day! Which is a miracle considering he had never been in child care before! We love PRESCOTT!
